Last Monday (26/09/2011) marked the 3rd anniversary of Mr.Baker's Bakeshop. The celebration was held on the day before i.e. on Sunday at our main branch at Batu Bersurat, Gadong from 9am to 4pm. There were arrays of mini cakes/pastries/desserts served throughout the whole event as well as some hot dishes catered from
Pondok Sari Wangi. A special one-day 30% discount was offered on all the whole cakes displayed which were all sold out within 2 hours.
In conjunction with our 3rd anniversary and our on going commitment to go "green", we are collaborating with
Beach Bunch for the "Beach Bun" project where a certain amount of sales from the buns will go to their fund. To read more about the Beach Bun, click
HERE. A reminder to our readers that starting next sunday (02/10/2011) we will have our first "Less Plastic Day" where we will not be giving out plastic carrier bags for your purchase. Thus, please bring along our Mr.Baker's recycled bag or any recycled bag of your own when making your purchase.
I must say I was truly surprised with the number of guests who turned up on the Sunday celebration and the overwhelming response in our FB Page with more than 450 wishes/likes/mentioned posted on our FB Wall.
