19 Years Later....

We had a small gathering at a friend's house recently during CNY. It is always glad to catch up with a whole bunch of old friends especially with those who came back from overseas. It has been 19 years since we left Sec 5 of St Margaret's School, Seria and it is pretty amazing that until now we are still able to maintain the camaraderie among this small group of friends. Between us, there is no business rivalry, no jealousy but only laughters and cares. Some of us have become successful entrepreneurs, professionals, teachers, specialists or whatever you name it but one thing has always remains unchanged ie. the great friendship built within us.

A Confused Customer

Now, I am confused. I find it hard to convince myself which frozen yogurt I like it best. I used to like the one located at Mabohai Shopping Complex but not anymore after the last time I had it again. The one located at Citis Square is not up to my taste as it's too icy for me (Note: I said "icy" not "pricy"). And lastly, I bought one from Kiulap a while ago and guess what, I don't quite like it either. I have nothing against any of these brands personally as all of them have had good reviews from their respective loyalty customers. So what does this implies? The answer is apparent. I am not a frozen yogurt person as I still prefer traditional creamy ice-cream than frozen stuffs. Good bye froyo!!

p/s: If I have to choose the best frozen yogurt in town, it will be the little stall located at basement of Utama Supermarket, Gadong. I am sure many of you are not going to agree with me.

Happy January 2012

Year 2012 has been really nice to me so far and I would say this year could well be a turning point of my career if the project(s) kick off as planned. I would be happy if I can get 3/5 projects accomplished this year. I won't touch much on the projects for now but I will share more about it when the time comes.

Back to School

One month school holiday is officially over and tomorrow is the first day back to school. That means no more waking up at 8am everyday :) Well, it's time to get back on track again and I promise this year is going to be a challenging yet fruitful year as I already have few "master plans" on the pipeline. Year 2011 has been nice to me and I hope the year of dragon will bring luck and fortune to everyone in the family and friends. Say "Hello" to Year 2012, I welcome you with an open arms.

Parachuting at Manukan Island, Sabah

My first parachute experience was at Pattaya during a family trip to Thailand when I was probably about 12 years old and another one I had was at Langkawi before I got married. This time, I did it together with my son during our recent trip to Manukan Island, Sabah.

He said "I want it higher next time" :)

Merry Christmas

I'm writing this post now live from the lobby of Pacific Sutera Hotel, KK. I should have brought along my MacBook as I was not aware that iPad can't upload photo to blogspot (well, I could be wrong). Please enlighten me if someone knows how. I have also planned to update my WP blog during this trip as it's been delaying since last week. But, it doesn't work on iPad either. Well, I guess I just have to do it when I'm back.

Kk trip has been great so far. The food is great, weather is cooling and as far as safety is concerned, I am not as worried letting my boys running around compared to if we are in Miri. I plan to meet up with Thanis and Dinoza for dinner tomorrow if they are available. Shopping is not in our priority list this trip as we are more into relaxation and seeing the nature beauty of Sabah. Have you heard of this place called Kudat? I certainly have not heard of it until recently. Apparently, it's about 3 hours drive (I could be wrong) from KK and it's remote and very "kampong". I shall share more info and photos about this place after the visit.

Finally, I am no longer a lone ranger. I picked up my family back home last weekend after not seeing them for 10 days due to their family reunion in Miri. Upon arrival at my in laws, I saw my two boys standing outside the main door and before stepping out of the car they ran to me and gave me a big big hugs. It's so sweet of them.....
